Fire is the symbol of Vesta, Jupiter’s sister, goddess of the household, the house and the home-country. According to the legend, Aeneas introduced her cult in Italy.
The holy fire, symbol of Rome’s eternity, used to burn inside her temple in Rome.
The custody of the holy fire was entrusted to the Vestals. The holy fire was estingushed by order of Theodosius in 391 AD.

Vesta, goddess of household and hospitality, welcomes you to the Roma Terme Hotel, whose 19th century and neoclassic façade reminds of the glory of Imperial Rome.
This intimate and friendly place, directly run by the owner family, is a proper invitation to wellbeing right from the entrance, with the warm colours of the interiors.

Located at the entrance to the pedestrian area in Abano Terme, the Roma Terme Hotel welcomes the guests entering its elegant and bright hall with a café, meeting point for merry aperitifs or with more calm corners to relax in full privacy.

The holy fire, centre of the house and hospitality, was the symbol of the goddess Vesta and its custody was entrusted in ancient Rome to the Vestal Virgins. At the Roma Terme Hotel you will meet a team of hospitality professionals who, as the Vestal Virgins did, will be the guards of a holiday focused on elegance and hospitality.
